All Saints

How many of us are someone’s net – the safety net to catch that person when he or she falls.  This net is some sort of loving support – perhaps a shoulder on which to cry.

We all have the net called Jesus Christ who casts a wide one for all who need him, and we do at one time or another.

Today on the Solemnity of All Saints, let’s think of nets of loving mercy we provide.   Also, and more appropriately, let’s not think of saints but of sinners, in which case, we are all in need of those nets.  Safety first!
