Readings for today's Homily

Today, in church circles, we hear a lot about the New Evangelization.  But in these post-Easter days, in the Acts of the Apostles, we hear about the Original Evangelization - the spreading of the Good News.

Today we hear about how they were originally just talking with the Jews and now they were branching out and talking to the Greeks.  We hear that there is an intensive effort in Antioch to evangelize.  We're told that this is the first time that the disciples were called Christians.

There's a very old question, but still it is provocative.  The question was asked, if you were arrested for being a Christian, would they find enough evidence to convict you?
