See The Truth

Jesus said to his disciples: "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal. But store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.

"The lamp of the body is the eye. If your eye is sound, your whole body will be filled with light; but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be in darkness. And if the light in you is darkness, how great will the darkness be." (Matthew 6:19-23)

It cannot get much clearer than this advice.  It gets straight to point.  If our “eyes” are bad, we will be full of darkness.  The light of Christ within us can be darkened or snuffed out if we refuse to see.  And what should we see?  The truth is what we should see by not letting forces of evil convince us to believe lies spread in darkness.

We must treasure the truth and not allow its destruction by moths and decay or to be stollen by thieves – purveyors of lies in support of their desire for money, power, control, influence, and revenge.  These are the demons we must see in the light we shine with truth-telling.

So, let’s make our eyes sound with these lamps allowing to see – clearly.
