You can choose your friends, but not your relatives. The gospel today reverses that and says you can choose your family.
Jesus is told that his mother and his brothers are outside His response is my mother and my brothers are those who hear the Word of God and act on it.
How are you and I being challenged today to hear the Word of God, not simply to hear it, but to act on it?
