The Small Things

Think Small!  That seems to be the message in the Gospel today; counter-cultural to the message Think Big to be considered a success.  Christ used the images of the mustard seed, and a little bit of yeast added to the dough, in talking about the Kingdom of God.

Maybe you and I can hear this today urging us and be aware of the small things that we can do in life that really matter and impact another; or an impact on ourselves.  If we make just a small effort to be kind, to be charitable, to be forgiving, to be compassionate, that God can use that in a way that is beyond our imagination.

Sometimes we just need to think small.
