Love Me Do

Today’s Gospel is almost identical to yesterday’s; therefore, I shift to that which Jesus emphasized: love, love of God and neighbor.  I also draw on one of my favorite cartoonists with a sense of humor I appear to share (not sure that’s a good thing): Stephan Pastis and his “biblical” Pearls Before Swine comic strip. He and I appreciate a good pun (yes, there is such a thing).  I’m also a big fan of England, home of all my ancestors on my mother’s side.  Beatles' fans take notice.
