Cards On The Table

Have we got our priorities straight?  Do we tell those we love how much they mean to us?  Do we show that love?  Many of us take love for granted and forget the need to spade the ashes and stoke the fires of marriage. We gamble that all will continue to be well, even when there are danger signs (clubs of anger).

As the Holidays and Celebrations approach when family and friends gather (while social distancing and wearing masks – yes, we must subscribe to that protection approach for ourselves and others; Jesus would approve), we must lay our cards on the table by clearly making love of others visible especially through charity and compassion (hearts).  Gifts of diamonds are poor substitutes.
