Shrove Tuesday, February 16th The Sacrament of Penance will be available from  1:30  to  3:30  PM  in the  Church. 

This is the traditional day to be  “shriven”, that is,  to confess and be absolved before receiving ashes as a  sign of repentance on  Wednesday.

Ash Wednesday Mass & Ashes, February 17, 2021, 8:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 5:30 PM

Blessed  Ashes will also be packaged and available to be picked up in the  Church from  1  PM  to  5  PM  on  Ash  Wednesday.  The formula for imposition will be printed on the packet for those bringing them to other members of their household or to their neighbors who do not wish to take the risk of coming out to  Church in this time of an ongoing pandemic. As  Ashes are a  sacramental that has been blessed these should never be disposed of with other common household rubbish but should be returned to the earth in a respectful manner by burying them.
